Credits (◈) are the one currency for everything in Inkwisp. Each model and setting uses a different number of credits: a quick image can cost a handful, while a long 4K video costs much more. Plans refill a monthly allowance, and packs top you up whenever you need.

How credits work, what things cost, and where credits go.
The Generate button always shows the exact price, for example Generate · ◈ 50, and updates as you change the model or settings. Select the ◈ figure to see the breakdown — unit price × units × multipliers — and your balance after the run.
When you start a run, we hold its price. If it fails, times out, is refused by the provider or is cancelled before it starts, the whole hold is released automatically and instantly. Your credit history shows a "Refund" line, and the failed tile says Credits returned. We only show that label when the refund has actually happened.
If only part of a run is delivered, you pay only for what arrived.
The credits that expire soonest are always spent first; credits that never expire are spent last. So trial credits go before your monthly allowance, and your allowance goes before pack credits, which last 12 months.
No. Subscription credits refill on your billing day and don’t roll over. Credit packs and Extra Credits do carry over, for up to 12 months.
Credits "in use" are held by generations that are still running. When a run finishes, the delivered part is charged and the rest comes back to your available balance.
Select your credit balance in the top bar. The Credits dialog shows your available balance, what is in use, each batch of credits with its expiry date, and a full history with All, Spent, Added and Refunded tabs. Each line shows where it came from: Studio, Chat, Reels or Connect.
Packs are one-off top-ups you can buy on any plan once your e-mail is verified, including Free. Pack credits last 12 months. Outputs paid for entirely with purchased credits download without a watermark; commercial rights still depend on your plan.
Choose Redeem a code in the Credits dialog or in Account → Plan & billing. Credits from a code last as long as the code says (90 days unless stated), and each code works once per account.
The Generate button changes to Get credits · need ◈ N and shows how many more you need. You can buy a pack, upgrade your plan, or add Extra Credits on Canvas and above.
