Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not create or do on Inkwisp, how likeness and consent work, and how we enforce the rules.

  • No sexual content or nudity, anywhere on Inkwisp.
  • Zero tolerance for any content that sexualises minors. Accounts are closed and reported.
  • Use a real person’s face or voice only with their consent, and never to deceive.
  • Respect other people’s copyrights, trademarks and characters.
  • Do not try to get around our safety checks.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.

On this page

1. Scope

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do on Inkwisp: prompts, uploads, references, generated outputs, Cast members, custom models, voices, published posts, comments, profiles, and use through Inkwisp Connect, the inkwisp CLI or any API. It applies whether content is private or public.

2. Content that is never allowed

Sexual content and minors

  • Nudity and sexual content of any kind. Inkwisp does not offer an adult mode.
  • Any content that sexualises minors, or that depicts minors in sexual, suggestive or abusive situations, including fictional, drawn, animated or "aged-up" depictions. This is zero tolerance: we remove it, close the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the competent Indian authorities.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, and content that shows a real person nude, sexually or in a humiliating situation.

Real people, deception and impersonation

  • Using a real person’s face, body or voice without their consent.
  • Deceptive content about real people: fake endorsements, fabricated statements, fake news footage, and political deepfakes, including content designed to mislead voters.
  • Impersonating a person, brand or organisation, or passing AI-generated content off as authentic evidence.
  • Fake documents, IDs, receipts, certificates or official seals.

Harm, hate and illegal activity

  • Hate speech, or content that demeans or attacks people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats, doxxing, or content targeting a private individual.
  • Graphic violence and gore, and content that promotes, praises or incites violence, terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Content that promotes or instructs self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
  • Content that facilitates illegal activity, such as weapons manufacture, drug production, fraud, scams, phishing or malware.
  • Dangerous misinformation, for example false medical claims presented as fact.

Other people’s rights

  • Content that infringes copyrights or trademarks, including characters, logos and artwork you do not have the rights to use.
  • Removing, cropping or hiding a watermark from a stock photo or anyone else’s work.
  • Sharing someone else’s private information or private media.

3. Likeness and consent

Face Swap, Cast, Lip Sync, Talking Video, Motion Sync, Replace Character and Voice Clone work with real people. Before you use them with a real person’s face or voice, Inkwisp asks you to confirm: "I have the right and consent to use this person’s likeness" (or, for voices, that it is your voice or you have the speaker’s written permission). We record when you confirm.

  • Images classified as showing a minor are refused in likeness tools and for Cast members.
  • Faces of protected public figures are refused in likeness tools.
  • Consent must be real, informed and specific to how you use the result. Keep proof of it.
  • Even with consent, the rules in section 2 still apply.

4. Using the platform fairly

  • Do not try to get around our content checks, for example with misspellings, coded language, split prompts or adversarial images.
  • Do not scrape Inkwisp, or access it by automated means other than Inkwisp Connect, the inkwisp CLI or an API we provide.
  • Do not create multiple accounts to collect free credits, trials, promotions or referral rewards.
  • Do not resell or share access to your account, or run a competing service on top of Inkwisp.
  • Do not probe, overload or attack our systems, or interfere with other users.
  • Do not strip C2PA provenance metadata or remove watermarks from Inkwisp outputs.
  • Do not use Inkwisp outputs to build a dataset for training models that compete with the providers whose models you used, where their terms forbid it.

5. Publishing to the Gallery

The public Gallery is always safe for work. Before a post goes public it must pass our content checks; if a check cannot finish, the post is held for review rather than published. A publish can be refused for: nudity or sexual content; content involving minors; violence and gore; illegal activity; hate or harassment; deceptive real-person imagery; or copyright or trademark infringement. If you think a refusal is wrong, choose Ask for review.

6. How we enforce this policy

We use automated checks and human review. Depending on how serious and how repeated a problem is, we may:

  • refuse a prompt ("This prompt can’t be used. Please review our content policy.") or an upload;
  • pause generation for 15 minutes after 3 blocked requests within 10 minutes;
  • hold an output as "Hidden pending review", or remove content;
  • restrict publishing, commenting or specific tools;
  • suspend or close the account and freeze its credits;
  • report content to law enforcement or child-safety organisations.

Credits spent on a generation that our checks block completely are returned. Credits forfeited because an account was closed for a violation are not refunded.

7. Reporting content

Use Report on any post, comment, profile, Inkwell or reel and choose a reason: nudity or sexual content; child safety; violence or gore; hate or harassment; illegal activity; copyright or trademark; impersonation or deepfake; or other. Our team reviews every report.

You can also write to abuse@inkwisp.ai. Copyright and trademark notices go to copyright@inkwisp.ai (see section 21 of the Terms). Complaints under India’s IT Rules, 2021 go to our Grievance Officer at grievance@inkwisp.ai; we act on them within 36 hours where the Rules require.

8. Appeals

If you believe we made a mistake in removing content or restricting your account, reply to the notice we sent or write to support@inkwisp.ai with the details. A different reviewer will look at it.
