Steps

  1. Step 1: Add references

In the prompt card, open the references tray and upload images, or drag them in from your Library. The counter shows how many the current model accepts (up to 14 on Nano Banana 2).

  2. Step 2: Refer to them by name

Each reference gets a label such as Image1. Write "@Image1" in the prompt to say how to use it: "the sneaker from @Image1 on a marble plinth".

  3. Step 3: Mix roles

Use one image for the product, another for the style, another for the background. Tell the model which is which in plain words.

  4. Step 4: Switch models with care

If you change to a model that takes fewer references, Inkwisp warns you before removing the ones it can’t use.

Tips

  • Uploads can be PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF up to 20 MB. SVG, GIF and HEIC are not accepted.
  • For a person who should look the same every time, create a Cast member instead of re-uploading photos.
